Do you like to organize your beads by color and type in neat organizer compartments - salad bar style? Or do you have them mixed together in one tub, soup style? Every now and then I focus really hard on getting my work space organized including sorting all of the beads. I put them in the Beadsmith Keeper Box which we love at Sweet Beads because of its smart design.
It has sloping sides - if you have ever tried to coax a tiny bead out of corner you know how nice it is to have sloping sides. It also has ridges in the lid that seal each compartment so the beads don't go rolling around where they don't belong. (We really appreciate smart user design!)
Often out of this totally random mix of beads that we would never have thought to combine, a new design will emerge! While it's nice to have the salad bar so you can survey your choices, sometimes it's the soup that fuels the spontaneous creations. When that happens I remember that a little chaos is important in our creative lives.
And here we have "From soup to nuggets on a simple loop chain"! We'd love to hear from you about tips for storage and your design process.
